Payment Information for Professional Buyers

At Simon Outdoor, we strive to make the payment process secure, transparent, and efficient for our global business partners. This page outlines our standard payment terms, methods, and procedures for OEM/ODM orders.



1. Standard Payment Terms

Our typical payment structure for confirmed production orders is designed to balance security for both parties and ensure smooth project execution. The standard terms are as follows:

  • Deposit / Advance Payment: 30% of the total order value is required upon confirmation of the Proforma Invoice (PI) and before production commences. This secures your order in our production schedule and allows us to procure raw materials.

  • Balance Payment Before Shipment: 70% of the total order value must be paid in full, and our bank must confirm receipt of funds, before the goods are released for shipping. We will provide you with final pre-shipment photos or a video inspection for your confirmation prior to requesting this payment.

*These terms are our standard. For long-standing partners or specific project circumstances, alternative terms (e.g., 40%/60%, LC at sight) may be negotiable and will be explicitly stated in your Proforma Invoice and final contract.*


2. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following secure payment methods from corporate clients:

3. Step-by-Step Payment Process

  1. Quotation & Agreement: You receive and approve a formal Quotation and/or Proforma Invoice (PI) detailing all costs: unit price, total amount, payment terms, and delivery terms (e.g., FOB Xiamen).

  2. Deposit Payment: You return the signed PI and arrange the 30% deposit via your chosen method.

  3. Production Commencement: Upon verification of the deposit, we begin production and provide you with scheduled updates.

  4. Pre-Shipment Notification & Balance Payment: Upon order completion, we send you a pre-shipment report (including photos/video). After your confirmation, we issue the Commercial Invoice for the 70% balance. Payment must be received and cleared before shipment release.

  5. Shipment & Documents: Once payment is confirmed, we ship the goods and send you all original shipping documents (Bill of Lading/Air Waybill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, etc.) via courier or as agreed.


4. Important Notes for Buyers

  • Currency: All invoices are issued in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing.

  • Bank Details: We will only provide our official bank account details via company email on invoices. Never transfer funds based on bank details received through unofficial channels.

  • Fees: All bank transfer charges (including intermediary bank fees) are the responsibility of the payer (buyer). Please instruct your bank to remit funds such that we receive the full invoice amount.

  • Taxes & Duties: The quoted prices are exclusive of any import duties, taxes (e.g., VAT, GST), or clearance fees levied by the destination country. These are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

  • Payment Confirmation: Always include your company name and PI/Invoice number as a reference on all payments to ensure prompt and accurate allocation of funds.

  • Samples: Sample costs and courier fees are typically paid 100% in advance before sample dispatch.


5. Security & Invoicing

  • All financial transactions are conducted directly between our company and your company.

  • We issue formal, numbered commercial invoices for every transaction for your accounting and customs purposes.

  • Our financial department is available to provide any supporting documentation required by your bank or accounting team.
